BIH Members
This is who we are.
Every organization and individual on this page made a choice to stop doing this work alone. They bring different missions, different communities, and different areas of expertise but they share a commitment to building something stronger together than any one of them could build on their own.
BIH members include Black-led nonprofit organizations spanning the Greater Houston area working across education, public health, workforce development, arts and culture, criminal justice reform, and community development. We also welcome individual affiliates including Black leaders working inside non-Black-led organizations who are looking for community, and Black consultants who support nonprofits and the leaders who run them.
What connects every member is not just what they do, but how they show up. With honesty, collaboration, and a belief that Black-led work deserves to be fully resourced and respected.
If you are ready to stop doing this alone and be part of a community that is building real collective power in Greater Houston, we would love to have you.
