What is Black Impact Houston Giving Day?
Black Impact Houston Giving Day is a one-day collective giving campaign that rallies donors across the Greater Houston area to invest in Black-led nonprofits doing transformative work in our communities.
Every dollar donated is distributed among participating member organizations to amplify the reach and impact of the community's generosity all at once.

Every dollar raised on Giving Day goes directly back into the Black-led organizations building a stronger Houston. Here's how funds are distributed:
80% is divided equally among all participating member organizations who fulfill their Giving Day responsibilities
20% supports Black Impact Houston's administrative operations and infrastructure
Here's what our community has made possible in past years:
2024 Giving Day — $21,583 raised | 95 supporters
2025 Giving Day — $15,000 raised | 74 supporters
